DeansCon 2015
Students from across the Expressive Arts & Technologies enjoyed a fantastic afternoon learning about potential career pathways in the Creative Industries during the inaugural DeansCon event. Students worked with the Graphic Artist Gary Erskine, who has worked with Marvel and DC Comics, to learn more about comic book designs and create some of their own fantastical inventions! Throughout the afternoon, students were also presented with some brilliant work by the ECA Student Ambassadors, who shared their experiences of further study and work opportunities in the Arts. The event was well received by staff and students alike All of the work created from yesterday's fantastic event will be on display in the Library soon with photographs to follow on the website. As one student put it, "We saw how Art & Design can open up the world for you."
